Not meant to be too official; just letting those who aren't following the storyline that our turn is finally coming. 2LT Fury had never cared for being out in the middle of a dogfight in vacuum...not even when he was a pilot for a pirate gang. He disliked it even less as an observer onboard an Assault Transport. MAJ Anakin had sent him out with an intel and astrogation team to map some travel lanes to the various platforms. Though a goodly sum of enemy capital craft were out of commission, that left a lot of fighters still available to take out slow moving transport craft. Therefore, the quickest route to their targets was the best. This was slightly tricky as the Mustang had just shredded an ISD. That left a lot of debris patterns in local space. Luckily the pilot was as good at dodging as the gunners were at eliminating the larger chunks. With one platform taking a pounding, it was gonna be a peach of a target. Probably a good thing to give it to an understrength squad. Fury jotted down a few more notes about the other platforms from magnified visuals. Much of this exercise was going to be quite difficult. And, promotion or not, he would be back leading the Raiders due to manpower constraints. That, and trying to keep a grasp on the big picture. Well, nobody said it was easy. "Pilot, I've seen enough if everyone else has. Let's turn back. I've got a lot of prep work to do before our part of the battle begins." Squad Leaders, if you have any small ideas about the mission, just let me know at [email protected] . Otherwise you can post some pre-mission details here to set up your part of the story (special weapons, drills, etc.). Also, if you have a few troopers who are just not responding, feel free to use them as characters in your Chapter 6 run-on. As leadership personnel, it's hard for us to be in the action at times. So, if you're planning to AWOL someone out, use it to your (and your squad's) advantage. It may also get the person to re-evaluate their level of activity (or lack thereof) if you define their character. Just remember...don't kill off anyone you want to keep. This is a "live" environment. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Fury (edited February 07, 2001).] IP: 139.78.190.2 |

Hehe.... Cosmic , even tho, as FM Threeof4 said, this is more of a motivational approach, I did like that post you made a few weeks ago. So, if you do want to put a blurb in about what your character is doing before we actually go into battle...go ahead. But if you choose to do this, save your energy for the main event on the Storyboard. I'd like us to make a good showing and I do not want this to detract from that effort. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Fury (edited February 08, 2001).] IP: 139.78.190.2 |
