If it is going to be an "official" story, however, you have to obey the following:

- Your story must accurately fit into the Vast Empire plotline (which includes correctly giving the rank of each real Vast Empire member that appears in it and his/her position at the date your story occurs). This also means that you have to know what systems the Vast Empire is currently occupying.

- All contents in the story must be relatively feasible in the Star Wars universe. For example, you cannot have chickens in control of Coruscant, etc.

- No major "real" VE people die (i.e. you cannot have Threeof4 or Kadann getting their head lopped off by a Light Jedi, etc. hehe).

- No stories are added into the official VE plotline database unless Majere (or the High Council) approves it or the Council Sec vote on it, I believe.
