The note read: Daishi put on this new uniform and proceed immediatly to the Grand Hall, all will be revealed there.

Daishi being the paranoid person his training and experience has taught him instead put on his old Varneck Planetary Defense Force Military Police Extradition Unit dress uniform which consisted of his Varneck Marine Combat Armor minus the helmet and a berret added, two duel pistols, a blaster rifle, a vibro katanna, his rank insignias, all his medals, and a shirt like cover which almost made him look normal if not for the horrific color scheme(under coat of drab yellow with green high lights and two blood red pinstrips down each arm).

"I feel under armed but just incase this is not a trap I will be dressed for the occasion." Daishi muttered to himself as he walked down the ramp of the Royal Barkalounger.

Walking down the halway to the Great Hall Daishi noticed several other people in the same type of uniform that was left for him.

The sound of light chuckling came as Daishi walked past the others waiting to go in the hall.

"If any of you have a problem with my uniform please take it up with me rather than laughing at me behind my back." Daishi said as he stood at the doors at attention.

Shortly thereafter the doors slowly slid open and Feild Marshal Majere stood with his ussual assortment of body guards nearby at the opposite end of the room.

"As this is a new situation we will be establishing some new protocals here today. Now if all of you would please step inside I'd like to get this started." Majere said as the six stepped into the room.

As was his custom Daishi removed his barret upon entering the hall and placed it underneath a shoulder strap.

" I see you all got my invitations though it appears that not all of you followed the instructions." Majere said as he caught sight of Daishi in his unnussual uniform.

"My apologies Feild Marshal, my paranoia and old habits are getting the better of me these days." Daishi replied with a bow.

[I'd like to see where someone else would take this but if I get no takers I shall proceed]

Each was knighted in an ancient ritual that many had never seen before but Daishi heard of a few times.

"Interesting choice Field Marshal. For once I do not feel like an old man past his prime. I hope we have more time in the future to discuss the ritual further and how it could be changed to suit our imperial nature but for now it shall suffice." Daishi said to Majere as he began to leave the hall.

"Hey, You gotta have excercise from your engineering duties once and a while." A figure with dark blonde spiked hair, and a large grin said. Atrus, dressed in his usual black robes, flopped down in one of the chairs. "Just thought I would drop in and congratualate you on becoming a knight. You know, afterall I guess we are partners since we were both assigned to the Lorn system."

"So nice of you. Thank you for your congratualations and same to you. By the way, I still haven't figured out what that script says on the trim of your robes, or what language it is for that matter." Daishi remarked.

Only a light chuckle followed as jet black robes flowed through the air like liquid, out the doorway.

"Computer resume search. I will at least find out what language that is, anything beyond that is just the icing on the cake." Daishi said as he sat back down in the Royal Barkalounger's command chair.
