Threeof4 stood in the Vending Machine hall munching a Snickers as he eyed his wrist watch. "10 minutes until 'puter class and then I can go get sleep. Heh, that doesn't sound bad now."
"After 15 hours of being up on my feet all day, and I can take off these shoes."
He stuffed the last chocolately-chunk into his mouth and swabbed the wet caramenl off his finger tips, "Man these bunyons are killing me."
His red, swolen eyes glanced around himself, "Now where'd it go?? I gotta have it or I'll n'ver get into class..." He dug into his pockets shuffling about in his muffled way under the weight of his book-filled pack.
"ID, ID card...five dollar bill, a co'ple pennies, wrappers..."
"Let's see, Snickers wrapper, student pass, class receipt...Oh, heh, here you are."
3 pulled the small scrap from his pocket, "Now gotta get going, 5 'til, can't be late. Professor won't like me. Prejudice, can't have that, gotta make a good impression."
It was moments before Threeof4 boarded the elevator. Without lifting his head he settled into the farthest corner making his way thru the many feet stepping from side to side. "Ew, I need new boots."
