Go ahead and add on if you wish on one condition, you may not kill me in this story.

I stepped out of my office for a my ussual morning jog. My thoughts were mostly on what was going on lately. With my position in the IW and the VE I had been feeling a little streached thin lately but I feel as if I can handle it.
The rebels were asking for trouble and the pirates begging for obbliteration. This made for a greater demand on my abilities. This is a time for warriors not the scholar I have become in my complacancy.
With a slight ache in my right hip I knew in my distraction my jog turned into a sprint. All the medical droids said it was just my imagination. Blast them if they are right.
I found myself right in front of the Royal Barkalounger again as all my other jogs have ended. I knew I needed to get back into the cockpit of a starfighter to regain the skill I had long ago. The Royal Barkalounger was no starfighter.
Grabing a shower and my VE uniform I easily made it in time to the VEEC test labs where my real work was done. My technical abilities landed me a job at mission (re)construction and I proved able at this relativly new skill. The Navy made a request for reconstruction of past missions for training purposes and I was glad to help.
Despite my responsibilities I needed to get a chance to log time in a starfighter again if I am going to fullfill my desire.

The Royal Barkalounger was down for maitenence again, that seemed to be the trade mark of all the craft to be assigned me. I waited paitently for a few days for the ussual delivery of supplies I manage to pull in every so often. This load was carrying mostly spare parts, food and drink (mostly alchoholic).
The supplies were unloaded easily enough but people in the CS were growing suspicous of how I could afford all this stuff. The truth is I was only paying for the food and drink everything else was being supplied by the goverment of my home world as I still have my position in the PDF. Sure having three different bosses was a little combersome but I had worked out a routine to manage it.

After several days on my home world I had managed to create a new resolve in myself to help me complete my tasks assigned me sooner.
My tasks would now be much simpler.
Enemies abounded and no one knew who they were really. Time for action has already past and yet we are idle. I must finish my reconstruction of past missions for Niksavel now. My planning can wait until after I have finished.
