This day was like most others. Cold and wind flowing over everything. The sun high in the sky and a single cloud out in the distance. It was hard to believe it was summer here. I had returned home for the first time in a year, the planet Varneck. Things had changed but that was expected. What was unexepected was my new ship to replace the loss of the Royal Barkalounger. It was a brand new YT-2000 Corellian transport and it had already been sent through the modification yards. I guessed that after the paint dried it would have an drab yellow under coat with a blood red pin strip down each side and green high lights. My orders were simple for this ship "Bring it back in one peace this time, or you will be held responsible for it's destruction as if you were the one who destroyed it." I knew this was no idle threat. The Modifications made to the Pursuer class vessil that became the original Royal Barkalounger cost a fortune. This new craft was even more deadly and expensive. At least they got tons of extra chairs from the spare parts for the original. This day would be long remembered by me and my goverment, a single pilot succeded where countless pirates and rebels couldn't in destroying the original Royal Barkalounger.

I needed to get back to my post asap so I took the new Royal Barkalounger with only a partialy filled fuel tank. At least the chair was warm. This ship isn't quite as fast as the original but it is definatly more manueverable, more heavily armed, and more durable. I have to remember to check the weapons load out on this ship when I have a moment in real space. Hyper drive activated.
