"Do you see anything?" asked Corporal Coolguy to Major Armageddon, fingering his blaster rifle. He surveyed ex-Governor Lord Blackstake's beseiged mansion.
"No. I do not think Lord Blackstake is going to come out..."
"So... have you heard Kitney Sears new song, 'You Drive Me Cra...'"
"Corporal Coolguy!" it was the stern voice of Lieutenant General Harrison, commander of Dragon Regiment, that interrupted Corporal Coolguy from behind the two stormtroopers, "I want you to advance fifty yards forward and see if you can get a clean shot into the window on this side of the building. There is a sniper up there, and we cannot advance on that side until he is dead. This entire operation pends on the death of that sniper. You may be wounded in the process of elmininating him, but remember; you are a soldier in the Vast Empire Army and it will be your personal honor to add this glory to the Empire."
Coolguy looked apprehensively forward gauging the fify large paces over open ground in front of him in his mind, then pusillanimously looked back at LG Harrison,
"But, what if I get shot???"
"Get up there, stang you!"

Always me, me, me. Never anyone else... Coolguy grumbled to himself as he snaked along the ground on his belly.
I might as well have a big 'look over here' sign on me than this bright white stormtrooper armor I am in...
A colorful strangebird flew overhead. Its green wings, and blue feet were perfectly visible despite the glare of the sun behind it. Coolguy gazed upon it momentarily.
Its a Yellow-beaked Lorian Alba...
The sound of a laser firing rang out as the dirt in front of Coolguy's helmet flew up barely inches away.
Stang it!
Another laser flew by him. He visually scanned the window where the sniper was.
Sure enough, the head of a human protruded.
Coolguy brought his weapon into firing position, and squinted as he gazed through the sites.
Another laser shot came closer.
I better get a medal for this...
He squeezed the trigger. A red beam sizzled from his gun and flew at a high rate and drilled into the skull of the sniper sending him backwards with a clean hole in his head.
