"Take command Athran, I'm gonna go visit the Platform Antares." Sesswanna commanded
"Yes Sir!" Athran replied
"Deck officer, let's take this ship for a spin" Athran commanded
"Right away sir. Where will we be heading off to?" Deck Officer replied
"Let's go to the Galbagos Nebula, and see what we can find." Athran stated
"Right away Sir, we will be arriving in 2 hours." the Deck officer replied
"Very good I'll be in my quarters if needed." Athran replied

------- Meanwhile aboard Sesswanna's shuttle on its way to Antares.

"Sir, the Nemesis reports that it is leaving for the Galbagos Nebula, and will be gone for awhile." said the shuttle pilot.
"Hmmm, better have the Talon and the Judicator go with them, but put the rest of the Lorn Home Guard on alert incase anything comes up." commanded Sesswanna.
"Yes, sir," replied the Pilot, "shall I forward that order to the fleet?"
"Yes, and send a message to the Nemesis, Talon, and Judicator and tell them they better be ready to get back here in a hurry if anything happens." said Sesswanna.

------- Aboard the Nemesis shortly after arriving at the Nebula

"Commander we have arrived at the Nebula." stated deck officer "We are picking up a fleet in about 150 km. to the north east of us." said the Deck officer, "What shall we do"
"Do you know what kind of ships they are yet?" Athran asked.
"No sir, but I have already sent out a scout." the deck officer said waiting for acknowledgement.
"Very good." Athran replied, "How long will it take to get the reconaissance back?"
"Appromixately 20 minutes." he replied.
"Send out Alpha Squadron to a distance of 2 km. beyond the Nemesis." Athran commanded
"Yes sir." Deck officer replied
"And also get on the comlink to the other two ships and tell them to assemble in a defensive formation around us." Athran commanded
"Yes sir." Deck officer replied, "They are moving into formation, anything else?"
"Yes, tell the Talon and Judicator to send out their squadrons and patrol a distance of 3 km. out." said Athran

-------- Aboard the New Republic Fleet

"Admiral D'dri, sir!" yelled the MC-90 Republic Star's Commander, "We have just picked up 3 Imperial ships approximately 150 kilometers ahead of us, they are assembling in defensive formation!"
"What? HOW!" demanded Admiral D'dri of the New Republic Armed Forces, "we did everything we could to insure we would arrive undetected!"
"Sir, I have a positive read out on ship classes, they have one Imperial-class Star Destroyer, and two Victory-class Star Destroyers, and they appear to be launching fighters." spoke the Republic Star's Sensor Officer.
"Have the Panasi and the White Star form up on our flanks, and the Allegiance get in formation beneath us," commanded Admiral D'dri, "let's get a 3-point Death formation going."
"Yes, sir!" replied the Republic Star's Commander, "shall we launch our fighters?"
"Yes, but have them get into formation between the Panasi, White Star, and ourselves, in a manner so that they can all fire their torpedoes at once."
"Do you mean you want to try a 3-point Death formation with our Capital ships, while our fighters attempt a Kran Torpedo formation?" asked the Republic Star's Tactical Officer.
"Yes, do you have a problem with that?" demanded Admiral D'dri.
"Yes, sir, it could..." replied the Tactical Officer nervously.
"Enough, shut your mouth or you will be thrown in the brig!" yelled Admiral D'dri.

------- Aboard the Nemesis

"The recon fighter has determined the ship classes in the enemy fleet," stated the Deck Officer of the Nemesis, "they have a MC-90, 2 Assault Frigates, and a Nebulon-B Frigate, and they are launching fighters and getting into an attack formation."
"Ok proceed forward at 10 megalite." Athran stated, "and also alert the Navy high command to tell them that we have intercepted a sneak attack on the Vast Empire and are going to engage the ships."
"Yes sir, shall I also alert Sesswanna?" asked the Deck officer
"Yes do." replied Athran, "Also tell the Navy high command that it is the New Republic if they want to alert some close by allies."
"How fast are the New Republic ships moving?" asked Athran
"Not at all." deck officer replied, "It seems they have gotten into a sort of defensive formation and are awaiting our arrival."
"Also tell Admiral NiksaVel that we need support from the 1ESF since they are the closest to us." Athran commanded
"Sir, it seems more New Republic ships have arrived." the Deck officer alerted AThran
"WHAT? How many?" Athran asked frantically
"It seems they arriving in an attack formation behind the already standing New Republic Fleet." Deck officer replied
"Why?" Athran asked
"I'm not sure sir." said the deck officer, "I'm thinking that if this is D'dri they might be wanting to capture him for disobeying orders."
"I think he has gone renegade" Deck officer stated
"Tell the Fleet to stop and get some more ships over here now!" Athran commanded
"Never know what will happen now." Athran said to himself

------- Aboard the flagship of the newly arriving New Republic Task Force

"Admiral D'dri's ships are straight ahead of us Admiral Quant, and are in some type of Defensive formation, and it appears there is a small Imperial fleet ahead of them, also in defensive formation," said the Commander of the MC-90 Mon Surro.
"Interesting.." said Admiral Quant, "hail the Republic Star and demand Admiral D'dri's surrender!"
"Yes, sir!" replied the Mon Surro's Communications Officer.
"Sir, he replied 'NEVER! We shall fight to the death'," said the Communications Officer.
"Hail the Panasi, White Star, and Allegiance and ask them which side they are on." commanded Admiral Quant,
"Sir, they have already sent a message telling us they are with us, so are all but one of the Republic Star's fighter squadrons." said the Mon Surro's Commander.
"Excellent, have all ships target the Republic Star's bridge and destroy the bridge, and only the bridge," commanded Admiral Quant, "and have all of our fighter squadrons kill the renegade squadron."
"As you wish, sir!" replied the Commander of the Mon Surro,

------- Aboard the ISD-II Devastator

"Sir, we have recieved a transmission from the ISD Nemesis, from the Galbagos Nebula!" said Commander Blackbird to Admiral NiksaVel.
"What are they doing there?" asked NiksaVel.
"They appear to be engaging a large New Republic fleet," answered Blackbird.
"Send one Immobilizer-class frigate, and the Firestorm." commanded NiksaVel.
"Yes sir, they are preparing for the jump now, they should arrive in 6 minutes." said Blackbird.
"Good, inform the Nemesis that they are to destroy all of those New Republic vessels!" said NiksaVel.

------- Aboard the Platform Antares

"Rear Admiral Sesswanna, sir, we have recieved a message from Athran, he has found a New Republic fleet in the nebula and is engaging them." said the Antares Commander.
"Hmmm, how large is this fleet?" asked Sesswanna.
"2 MC-90's, 5 Assault Frigates, and a Nebulon-B, but all of the ships but one of the MC-90's are attacking the other MC-90, it appears it is the rogue New Republic Admiral D'dri's flagship." said the Commander.
"Interesting, send the Dragoon II, Relentless, and an Immobilizer-class frigate to join them, but they probably won't be able to help, they are 2 hours away." commanded Sesswanna.

------- Aboard the Nemesis. With the Immobilizer-class frigtae and the Firestorm arriving

"Sir the Immobilizer Frigate and the Firestorm have arrived and are ready for orders." said the Deck Officer
"Good, tell them to get in formation next to the Victory Class Star Destroyers." commanded Athran, "Tell the Imobilizer Frigate to engage its gravity wells we don't want to let this New Republic Fleet get away."
"How much more time till the Dragoon II, the Relentless, and the other Immobilizer-class Frigate get here?" asked Athran
"1 hour sir." Said the Deck Officer
"Ok tell the Fleet to get into attack formation and send out the fighters. Also keep the Immobilizer frigate in back." Athran commanded
"What is the status of the New Republic fleet?" asked Athran
"They have destroyed Admiral D'dri's flagship's bridge, so it is out of combat, but the rest of their fleet is assembling in attack formation, launching fighters, and engaging engines." said the Deck Officer.
"Engage engines, ahead full." Athran commanded

------- Aboard the New Republic Fleet

"Sir they are in an attack fleet heading straight for us." Said the New Republic's Commander, "They have a ship with gravity wells so we can't retreat."
"What do you want us to do?" Asked the Commander
"Let's try to take out that Immobilizer-class frigate with the missiles and get the hell out of here, and fast." Command the Admiral Qaunt
"Sir their missiles have longer range than ours." said the commander
"Let's take out the ISD first, then the Victories." Commanded the Admiral
"Sir they will take out at least one of our ships before we can even launch our missiles." said the commander
"WELL WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST WE DO?" Screamed the Admiral, "Their ships have better missiles and they have an Immobilizer-class Frigate. We can't escape."
"Sir, we could surrender and put ourselves at their mercy rather than all of us die." said the Commander.
"WHAT? You expect me to hand over my command let them have these ships and make us all slaves just too save a couple lives?" said the Admiral, "I'd rather die than let them have these ships added to their fleet to destroy other New Republic Factions like ourselves!"
"Ahead full we are going to destroy something of theirs rather than die without a fight!" The Admiral Commanded

------ Aboard the Nemesis

"How long till we are within missile firing range?" asked Athran
"20 minutes sir." replied the deck officer
"Prepare the concussion missiles to launch." said Athran, "As soon as the New Republic F Flagship is in range fire!"
"Yes sir, readying the missiles." Deck Officer said
"All power to forward shields until we get into their firing range. Then set them fully aft and forward." said Athran
"Tell the fleet to target the remaining MC-90. When in range fire at will." said Athran.
"Also tell them to target the engines maybe we could make a large enough explosion to throw the other ships of course." Athran commanded, "Also ready the turbo lasers and gun turrets for their incoming missiles."
"Destroy their missiles as soon as they are in range." commanded Athran

------ Aboard the New Republic MC-90

"Sir the Nemesis and the rest of their fleet are targeting this ship." said the Commander on board the MC-90, "What should we do?"
"Set all power to shields and weapons." commanded the Admiral, "As soon as we see a missile target it and shoot it down with turbo lasers!"
"Yes sir, We are estimating they will fire their missiles in 5 minutes and counting." said the commander, "Shall i ready our missiles for launch?"
"Yes, target the Immobilizer-class Frigate." Commanded the Admiral
"Shields at 200% sire we are as good as it's going to get." stated the Commander

------ Aboard the ISD-II Devastator

"What's going on?" asked Admiral NiksaVel
"They are preparing to launch their missiles" reported Commander BlackBird
"How long till they launch?" asked the Admiral
"2 minutes and counting sir." said Commander BlackBird
"Allright keep me posted, and no matter what tell them to keep the Immobilizer-class Frigate operational so that those New Republic scum have to pay for all the trouble they have caused!" Commanded Admiral NiksaVel

------ Aboard the Dragoon II with the Relentless and Immobilizer-class frigate following

"How long till we arrive the at the battle?" asked the Dragoon II's captain.
"We will be getting out of hyperspace in 20 minutes, but after that we will still have to go about 500 km. to the battle sight." reported the Deck officer
"Power down the shields and weapons have way I want all the power we can get going to the engines to arrive there as quick as possible." said the Dragoon II's captain.
"Yes sir!" said the Deck Officer

------ Aboard the Nemesis

"What's the status on the missles?" asked Athran
"30 secs and counting!" reported the Deck Officer
"Shields fully aft and forward and set the engines power half way we need all the power we can get to help the shields and weapon recharge rate." commanded Athran
"Sir we are firing the missiles now!" reported the Deck officer
"Good." said Athran, "What's the status on the other ships?"
"All firing weapons and the Dragoon II, the Relentless and the Immobilizer-class frigate are about 20 minutes till arrival." said the Deck Officer
"How many shots are getting through?" asked Athran.
"About 25% are, and their shields are at 75%." said the Deck Officer
"Damn it!" yelled Athran.
"Sir they are launching missiles at us." reported the Deck Officer
"Destroy them with the turbolasers!" commanded Athran
"All have been destroyed except one that got through." reported the deck officer, "It took the shields down 1%."

----- Aboard the MC-90

"Sir our shields are dropping rapidly and only one of our missiles got through" reported the commander.
"How far are we away from the Nemesis?" asked the Admiral
"About 5 km." stated the commander
"All shields fully foward and everything else to the engines!" commanded the Admiral, "I WANT RAMMING SPEED!"
"Sir, but...." said the commander interrupted by the Admiral
"NO buts! We are taking out the Nemesis dead or alive!!!!" Screamed the Admiral his voice squeaking
"Tell the assault frigates to target the Nemesis we are going to DESTROY that ship." Yelled the Admiral

------ Aboard the Dragoon II

"Sir coming into range of the Assualt frigates." said the deck officer
"Athran said to assualt from above and below with Dragoon II and the Relentless." stated the deck officer
"Well carry out those orders and put shield recharge rate and weapon recharge rate on full."
said the captain of the Dragoon II
"Yes Sir!" said the Deck officer
