My position of XO of the Navy is changing to the StarFighter Corps Commander (SCCOM) of the VE Navy. FA NiksaVel has implemented several changes in the Naval High Command, one of which is changing the XO position to the SCCOM position. The new role will allow me to see to the day to day operation of the fleet. I will be working directly with the Captains of the Dev and Crusader, as well as the individual Squadron Commanders on fleet activity and promotion. My new duties will include collecting weekly reports from the individual squads and both ships; preparing our fleet for campaigns and battles; running VENA, our Academy; and promoting general activity and fun. We will be reviving our monthly newsletter shortly which will include articles, pictures, and possibly missions that have been created by our members. We will also begin inner squadron and ship competitions in the coming weeks. I will be contacting the Captains and SC's in the next couple of days with some of the new changes.

What I need from all of you, is the desire to have fun and participate. You all joined the VE to have fun and play games, write stories, draw pictures, etc. My goal is for us to eventually have a new competition or event every week for those who wish to participate. Those of you who are on the edge of going AWOL, give it a couple of more weeks and help make the Vast Empire everything it can and should be.
