Aboad the bridge of the ISD-II Devastator...

A tall officer in the white uniform of the Imperial Fleet Admiral stood motionless in front of the bridge viewport staring at the vastness of space with his hands clasped behind his back. Then from the bunch of officers currently on duty, a person in a black naval uniform of a Vice Admiral approached him.

"Yes, XO?", Fleet Admiral NiksaVel spoke without turning.

"Sir, progress report from one of our recon Corvettes. The Pegasus and the Cabal report that they have been ambushed by a R-41 Starchaser squadron bearing Clan Panther markings. Unfortunatelly they had to retreat to avoid any hull damage or potential destruction before they could ID the squadron."

"Exellent!" said NiksaVel "They are starting to get nervous and are revealing themselves."
"Continue the operations as planned and reinforce patrols in that sector!"

"Yessir!" Vice Admiral Blackhawk said, saluted and marched away to the comm station.
