Even though Alpha Squadron has been transfered to the Devastator the Competition will work the same. 2 pilots from each squadron are to face each other before this Wednesday (the 14th of April) and the victor of that match will be the squadron champion. After every squadron has reported in a victor the 2 victors from Blizzard and Steel squadrons will face, and the victor will then face the Alpha Squadron victor, the winner of this match will win the entire competition. ------------------ IP: 12.15.105.11 |

When we fly against another squadron, whether it be inner-squadron or not, I would like to suggest playing two games actually. Each pilot will host a game and the scores would be added up and submitted as one. Since the hosting player suffers from lag, this may balance things a little more fairly. As long as each pilot's computer meets the min requirements, this should not be an issue. So...when the winner of Steel meets the winner of Blizzard, I would like to host one game, and not host the other. Two credits from the old guy. ------------------ IP: 207.158.116.14 |

I agree with Scarecrow on what he just posted. We found out last night playing xvt that the host majorly suffers from lag when playing with people from different states in the U.S. and especially when playing someone from Europe! So I second his suggestion!

Fine with me as well, but I would prefer two 10 minute matches rather than two 5 minute matches, cos if you get a break after 5 minutes, then the weaker pilots with less stamina (stand forward, Athran, hehe ) get an advantage.My processor is a P2, what speeds are yours? Hey even though Sess nelected to inform me of the competitions, it wasn't all his fault, i have only begun to check the boards regularly. You see my computer is very slow and it takes quite a while to even load a page, so i didn't used to bother with it. I would like to compete in these competitions, even though i will probably suck. I have a rediculous PI 100Mgh. w/8 mg.RAM and a 4X cd ROM, now see how pathetic it is, just wait until the beggining of next year, then i would have made enough money from my job this summer in order to by myself a new comp. since my parents are too cheap. And new games will be out by then also, so that is always good. Well good luck in all following competitions guys. Ok now that the lag thing is official I would just like to gloat at Schnapps becuase I was the host and I even have the slower computer! hehe. Well anyways mine is a pentium pro 200mhz. Schnapps is having like the worst RL day of her entire life, and is having to force back the urge to break some noses. She finds that listening to Platypus (I Hate You) and F.O.D. very loud helps. She is also not in any kind of mood to take any rubbish from Athram etc. So he's just gonna have to accept that I won because I am best That smilie helped. The cometition seems to have lost a lot of momentum, so Athran, let me know if you'll be free any time this weekend, and I will play you in the final. Finally a winner has been crowned. hehe I am just reporting in on the results of the championship match between Schnapps and Myself. Schnapps had 16 total kills and 20 total deaths. I had 20 total kills and 16 total deaths.
