First off, I am going on leave, starting tomorrow (today, seeing as how it's 4 am) and I won't be back for a week.

Academy: I have had a few trainees finish their training, but we need to get more through. It is becoming a lint trap. I would like to use one of the powers I have not before. Private Tamale (or PFC, as of about 10 minutes ago) finished his training in the same day that he was recruited. I see promise in that, and I would like to give him one thing that only I, as the Commander of Training, can. The Letter of Recommendation [LoR] which he can put on the end of his ID line with pride. Here is the description of it from the manual:

Letter of Recommendation (LoR) - Given to members who have shown fantastic displays of promise while serving in the Vast Empire Army Academy. It adds a 15% increase on the test to achieve a commission as an Imperial Officer. It may onnly be awarded by the Commander of Training.

Although some of the things mentioned in the manual about it (such as the 15% increase to the officer's test) are not used, it more means that this trooper has caught my eye as he passed through my Academy. I will be giving this to any trooper who completes his training the same day he is recruited. This forshadows the activity that the trooper can give. Congratulations PFC Tamale.
