here we go...

Aw, why not. I'll apply.

I'm as active as I can be in the VE. You prolly don't care about it, but in the IW I was role-play administrator and executive officer of the planetary opperations division.

More importantly, the only squad in storm platoon (according to this roster thingy I was just reading) is my own squad, the fallen angels. As you know every last one of us came to the VE after the IW shut down. However, we're still a fiercly independent group, and unilateraly installing an "outsider" over us will not sit well. For the sake of avoiding a mass defection, storm platoon (and by extension, the Fallen Angels) should be led by one of us. Preferably Kuroshi/Daishi, but I'd do it too.

I'm sure that the platoon would get new squads eventually, but being in charge would just mean that I could bend them to my evil will as well, Muwahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

Actually, I'm not really all that interested in applying, I'm just delivering some advice. If boss Dai doesn't apply, I prolly will though.

im not sure who all was hear but I was, he was my first SL and he became Platoon commander. He is right for the job

When I was 15 I left my home planet Tatooine and joined the Vast Empire.
After making my Website www.imperialsenate.de for the VE, and stay active over a long time. I have been voted as �Sergeant of the Month� and got the �Emperors Will1�. I became Squad Leader of the Raiders. Of this Squad great Troopers like Japer came out. One year after becoming member of the VE, I was the first Platoon Commander in the History of the Vast Empire. For my great performance as Platoon Commander, the High Council awarded me the Iron Heard. I served under great Generals and Offivers like Sesswanna and Athran, who helped me often out, when I had problems with the language or with my important jobs. Without these great and loyal members I wouldn�t become Bureau Director of Infiltrating. But because of time and translation problems, I retired from these powerful positions to become a normal Trooper in the Elite Squad.
Now I am applying for the job as Platoon Commander of Storm Platoon.

Now, I know the saying "Praise in Public - Punish in Private." And so I'm going to make this short.

Yes, he did report to the AWOL check on the last day. But I have not recieved a report from him at all.

Now, my two cents.

I was going to apply for the Storm Platoon Commander position, but, as soon as Stormtrooper 1026 did apply, I got to thinking about it. Whoever get's said position would be commanding Daishi, and the Fallen Angels. Unless it is "one of their own"(and by one of their own I mean a loony-bin terrorist ) then they would not really be commanding that Platoon at all. They would follow orders... by getting the job done, in their own "special" way. But other then that, I pitty the poor soul who tries to command those troops.

Ok, at first I have to say - I hate this "No Private in Public, etc"....I think its something what everybody have to decide, and in future we should make a democraty-election. If you wish, I could organize that.
And I sent my reports to Japer - pleaze ask him!
Or if you have ICQ, give me your number, I will immediately contact you, Sir.
I think we need a Platoon Commander, before we get new Troops and Squads in Storm Platoon. And I dont understand, why I apply for this job and now everybody else want it too....
I think I deserve more respect, of some of you as retired Platoon Commander, Squad Leader and Bureau of Infiltrating Director! I have not earned me this ranks while I slept...

First off, the question begs answering:

DOES Storm Platoon actually NEED a Platoon Leader at this time?

Personally, one squad is pretty easy to manage at the squad level.

Second, what does past experience and recommendations do that current levels of activity do not?

1026, try out a translation service on the net and then send your bio to someone for review/revision. And while it's nice for people to speak well of you, it is impolite to bludgeon others with that news.

Third, I thought we were still running this as an army and not a beauty pageant.

I assumed that the higher-ups announce when positions have opened up and not the other way around. If that is actually NOT the case, I'd like to be the first to submit my app as the official Ninja Pimp of the VE.

AFTER the squad competition I MIGHT decided on who is to be the platoon commander, but as of right now its not needed.
