Well, they weren't kidding...some of us got nicely rewarded for our efforts in IOC. Congrats to all of you who got a bump in pay...not to mention responsibility. A Sergeant Major is the command side of the enlisted ranks. Normally one would be assigned to assist the batallion, regiment, division commanders in their duties like a first sgt assists a company commander.
