Dear Vast Empire Army, We have been thinking about having a weekly meeting in the Army, but are not sure what day to have it on. Wouldn't it make sense to have a vote so that we know what day we have can expect to have the most of you on mIRC. To have a say in the date, respond to this msg with the day of the week you wish to have it on. If you don't vote that'll just tell us we can't expect you to be at meeting. I like the idea of a weekly meeting, but sometimes there isn't much that goes on in a week, and it is very hard for everyone to attend. I would like to see this happen but maybe a report from the major divisions that could be posted on the comnet would be more in order. We could have a large report submitted by Crysus, and then I could attach what pertains to the activities I do each week. Sparks could post about the new graduates, Sess/Kurtz could post about updates to the roster and promotions/medals. This would enable everyone to know what's going on, with out making the trouble of time zones, not everyone being able to attend the same day, and if we wanted to even squad leaders could post some updates. Just a thought though, but it would let everyone know what everyone else is up to. Having an active army requires communication, and this might spark some activity and maybe even squad rivals. -LG Athran IP: 208.129.162.11 |

These weekly meetings would only last about 5 minutes and I have to agree with Athran on this one. But if we standardize a time say for a month we have melees on Tuesday at 5:00pm until 8:00pm (this is just an example) I think that most people would get used to it and plan ahead. I would do it on Monday 'cause Mondays during the school year are when I usually don't go out with my friends but others may have different opinions and I'm open. ------------------ IP: 216.220.34.11 |

personally i would rather have a montly meeting. that way we would have more info to get out, and the meetings would run smoother and more people would attend. we could just recap on the whole month and discuss things for the next month. weekly reports should be like our weekly meetings. they are what is supposed to keep you up-to-date throughout the week, but not enough turn them in, then not even i have anything to report on IP: 63.27.198.20 |
