I would like to know how many people in the VE would like the old VE Engineering Corporation reopened. Three said if we can get ten members then we'd talk. For those who missed out on what the VEEC was, it made missions, graphics, web pages, game patches, mission testing, and other various technical support duties for the Vast Empire as a whole. I'd like to bring it back so that the entire VE can have the support it used. I know there will always be more people who can do flight sim editing then there will be for JK editing, but I'd still like to have a division running specificly to fill those tasks so that volunteers don't have to be sought out in any division, besides it would probably make us look more profesional if we had a unit dedicated to such neccessary tasks. ------------------ "If we have all knowladge then we would not wish to seek what we know, but if we had no knowledge how could we even ask a question?" Ten deffinates and one maybe still. Next Sunday at the meeting I will make every effort to be there but if I cannot make it I would like to ask all of you to show up and make your case to Three at the meeting. I've talked with Three and he seemed pretty receptive to my ideas, this could mean any number of things. I'd still like this brought before the meeting on Sunday just for protocal's sake. I've even talked with Three about having fiction writers as part of the VEEC and ways to have the people who wish to be strictly VEEC still be able to get in on the fun. Right now he has me typing up my proposal and if anyone has any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them. So I can set up a mailing list I'd like you all to e-mail me at [email protected]. When I get everyone on this list I'll send out a slightly updated copy of the proposal to re-open the VEEC. I can do SC missions (I am a living god of sc mission making after all :-)).
