Greetings, wackos and wackettes. This "music thread" will be utilized for the listening pleasure of Lounge ComNet viewers.

Every(?) week (perhaps twice a week) I will upload a new music file* here for your listening enjoyment. It will range from turn-of-the-century wax-cylinders to the year 1969. All songs will be edited for content and time compressed for length.

Please wait at least two minutes for download to complete. All songs posted are optimized for users with cable modems or other high speed connections.

*NOTES:
(1) In order to listen to the songs posted, you must have Real Audio Player Basic 8.0 or higher installed (as well as functioning normally) on your computer. Please remember that this program is freeware and you do not have to pay a cent to download it.

(2) If you wish to request a song, please do so in another thread. Otherwise, I will ignore your thread. Comments pertaining to the currently uploaded song are allowed to be posted in this thread, but will be deleted after each new posting of a song.

(3) A song request may be refused if I cannot find the requested song on Napster.

(4) The song you request may take a while to be posted pending on the amount of earlier requests and scheduled events. I currently have the next song selected, so consider next song post to be booked. The song posts after that are free for requests though

(5) The song currently posted will be the last "new/modern/recent" song posted for a long time span (at least several months). No other modern (post-1969) songs will be posted. Please make all of your requests reflect this.
