[I use to argue with GN ReinMahn that history did repeat itself. Well, perhaps this goes a little further to prove my point.]
The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters. Both Presidents were particularly concerned with civil rights. The wives of both Presidents lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head. Both Presidents were shot in the presence of their wives. The Secretary of each President warned them not to go to the theater and to Dallas, respectively. Lincolns Secretary was named Kennedy. Both were slain by Southerners. Both Presidential successors were named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. John Wilkes Booth, who supposedly killed Lincoln, was born in 1839. Both suspected killers were known by their three names. Both names have 15 letters. Booth ran from the theater and was captured in a warehouse. To cap it all off, Booth and Oswald were both murdered before their trial. What do you think: Mystery or a statistical coincidence? Perhaps it is an alien plot. [This message has been edited by Spartacus (edited September 09, 2000).] IP: 24.237.58.18 |

Why do people make me think. First in science where we watched a movie "How the Universe was Formed". Made feel so small. "In the beginning, there were no atoms or molecules...the universe was pure energy and the size of an atom...after only a second in time the universe was now big enough to reach halfway to Mercury..." Makes you think doesn't it? Anyway, if that's all true Spart...stop scaring me. ------------------ IP: 24.112.158.22 |

like...that's sooo....groovy, man...unlearn...that yoda has some really groovy "plants" growing in his hut... anyway, who cares about these so-called mysteries? i'm more concerned with the more important things, like football. history does repeat itself, though. Example: Year one: 1998--my freshman year. 4th qtr-score tied. final play by Norfolk Catholic is a pass to Dusty Kaiser (AKA, "Pothead") in the left corner of the end zone. Norfolk wins 21-28. Year 2: 1999--My Sophomore year-part one 4th qtr-score tied--first overtime: no score. second ot both teams score 7. Third overtime-pierce: field goal, Herian. (this is where it gets freaky) final play by Norfolk Catholic is a pass to Dusty Kaiser (AKA, "Pothead") in the left corner of the end zone. Norfolk wins 24-28 (i think). 1999 part 2 Opening kickoff to Drahota of Pierce. He breaks his ankle. After-halftime kickoff to Otto of Catholic. Pierce ended up placing second to Catholic schools in Football, Track, and Basketball all in 1999-2000 year! who cares about presidents? i think god is out to get my school!

um nope, lincoln was shot in the head. the bullet entered the left side of his head and went to the right lobe. later they inserted a metal prodding stick to try and find the bullet, instead they turned his brain to mush, actually causing his death. some say he would have lived if they wouldn't have went prodding... ------------------ IP: 63.27.198.17 |

I once heard a story that they mushed Lincon's brain on purpose as a mercy killing. I don't know how acurate it is but it does make sense. ------------------ IP: 63.15.111.16 |

Yeah, my stomach slighty squirmed thinking about the thought of someone prodding around in the gray matter of someone's brain and then losing the bullet in the mushiness. After a few days, they probably lost the brain, too, like JFK's. I'm glad I wasnt eating. It sorta reminds me of the first pic Threeof4 took with his new PC Cam of himself that was circulating a couple months ago. toodles for now [This message has been edited by Christiana (edited September 15, 2000).] IP: 24.237.60.18 |
