I just lost my icq account trying to install 2000a. I lost a lot of the VE members on my contact list when doing so. If you want to add me again, my new number is 73669349. ------------------ IP: 208.129.162.14 |

you can back up your old account. Note* You didn't read the warning to back it up on ICQ.com.. hehe Let me see... Well heck. Go read up on it on the ICQ.com pages. They tell you how to do it. Any other questions, call me. ------------------ IP: 63.27.198.21 |

I had my account backed up and ICQ 2000 was working, but I moved it and I think it was running off .DLL files from the old ICQ and I deleted those so I tried to use the new New .DLL files and worked but I lost the old Data Base somewhere when I was transfering the files, I tried to recover it, but when doing so I installed ICQ again and the DB converter couldn't recover the correct version, therefore I lost the Data Base that was needed to restore my old ICQ contact list and settings. If you actually understood that, LOL, and you think you can still help me restore the old DB because I do have it, the DB converter just won't recognize it. I'd be glad to have the help. LMAO!! There's no way to actually understand that. ------------------ IP: 208.129.162.20 |

Also, I reinstalled ICQ and everything, but now I can't log on. Very odd, I've been trying for an extremely long time, and it won't work. So if any one wonders why I'm not on my new ICQ number for a while, it's probably because I reinstalled and got another new ICQ number, but I have no idea if I will or not so... LOL, I'm confusing my self. ------------------ IP: 208.129.162.20 |

Actually, i did understand that. lol Well, if the DB converter can't find it, and neither can you, i am assuming that it is gone. Once you get back on, i will send you everyone that i have. but as far as the logging in thing is concerned, i say delete ICQ from you HD.. totally, if 2000 doesn't work then, go back to 99b. ------------------ IP: 63.27.198.17 |
