Lorn
Today in the Lorn System not much is happening. Tremendous storms are over most of the planet, which has kept everyone indoors, until the storms blow over. Tremendous accidents are happening all over the capitol today. In one such incident Vice Admiral Black Hawk who was found drinking and driving tried to hit on the female police officer that was trying to arrest him. After being placed into custody he is now recovering in a holding cell before being released.
Erewhon
With the increase in patrol vehicles lately accidents has decreased dramatically. The captain of the corvettes from yesterday�s accident is still under investigation.
Gracchus
A clean-up effort near the school that has been destroyed is now underway. Everyone has pulled together in the Gracchus Capitol and is currently offering aid, money, and time to help the school victims. Field Marshal Majere has donated 5 million imperial credits to help rebuild the school.
Rilke
The fertility festival is still under way in the Rilke System. The local authorities for lewd and obscene conduct have cited Captain Cabbel from the Navy. Other than that everyone is enjoying him or herself and having fun.
Rodin
Lord Blackstake�s army is still under attack from the Army. General Spartacus has issued one final warning for everyone to surrender or be killed. No word from Ex-Governor Lord Blackstake has been sent yet. The ex-Governor�s entire staff has been arrested and is under investigation by Naval Intelligence.
Vonsam
Celebrations are still going on throughout the Vonsam System. So if you are looking for a good time I highly recommend you take a visit there.
Vol
With the exception of the fleeing New Republic citizen�s things are very quiet in the Vol System. Taskforces from the New Imperium as well as the United Galactic Republic seem to be sitting on the outskirts of the system. This stalemate is not expected to last long so the local security force is continuing its efforts to vacate as many citizens as it can before the war actually starts. Also, capitol ships from the IW and the SOH have been sent to the Vol System and should arrive in a few days.

War with the UGR
With the exception of a few minor skirmishes along the New Republic and Vast Empire supply lines no real news to report as of yet. I am having problems getting through to the Points Master that records all of the battles but as soon as I do hear from him I will let everyone know what is going on.

NI
Along with a Taskforce from the Vast Empire and the Society of Shadows, the IW is has sent a taskforce to the Vol System. FM Majere is still negotiating with the CSF and the DLSF for some help from them as well.

In other news I had an interview with CEO Threeof4 who is in charge of the Engineering Corporation. If anyone else out there would like for me to interview him or her please send me an e-mail to: [email protected]

1) Who are you and what is your job?
A: I am CEO Threeof4 and I run the Engineering Corporation for the Vast Empire. We design and build the weapons used by the VE.

2) How long have you been with the VE and how do you like it so far?
A: I�ve been with the VE pretty much from the beginning, although I have had to leave due to various reasons, but I have come back. The VE is doing very well considering it�s rough start. I enjoy it very much.

3) You said that the Engineering Corporation produces weapons for the Vast Empire. What projects do you currently have going?
A: My XO Darth Haun is currently working on a weapons patch for the Vast Empire Army. It includes variations for the weapons currently used by the Army, as well as some add-ons. One such add-on is a grappling hook allowing the troopers to roam more freely in the level. Others include lightstaff, and more powerful versions of existing weapons. We are also working on getting the materials needed for a VEEC Star Destroyer. This would allow us to travel around to other systems to set up factories and platforms. We will first need to get the Navy�s help to retrieve the materials that we need to start construction.
4) How does someone sign up for the Engineering Corporation and are there any requirements that I must have before signing up?
A: We are taking members now, but only through e-mail. If interested, you should e-mail me at: [email protected]. Include in the e-mail what you know right now, be it graphics, html, jk slicing, xwa, xvt, or tf slicing. Not ready yet, but is being planned out, is a place to send people that would like to learn how to do game editing. This should be ready in a couple of months. We are right now looking for people that already have these skills so that we can get a firm ground before we before we start teaching people that haven�t learned how to do things yet.
5) How do you interact with the Army and the Navy when it comes to testing out new ships and missions? We have asked FA Niksavel and GN Spartacus to compile a list of members that they feel are the best and most active in their divisions. They are then e-mailed new projects that we are working on and that are ready to be tested. For putting their lives on the line to make sure that new craft and new weapons work, they will receive a 15% pay increase.
6) What is a lightstaff?
A: Due to the uncovering of files relating to Palpatines rise to power, we have come across a Jedi weapon known as the Light Staff. It is actually a remarkable weapon consisting of a normal lightsaber, but also has a second blade that comes out of the other end. It can be used as a lightsaber or a staff and is used mainly by our VESF members.
7) Do you have any idea when the new VEEC star destroyer is going to be completed and do you have a name for it yet?
A: No we don�t have a completion date for the star destroyer. Due to the amount of funds that it took to create the VEEC, we thought it best to save money on the resources and materials to build an ISD, so are planning on acquiring materials to build an ISD from the Vol System. A mission plan has not been worked up yet, but we are receiving excellent intelligence information from the Intelligence Division. The name will not be announced until the ship is under construction.

9) Is there any part of the website that is under construction?
A: Pretty much the entire site is under construction at this time. We are making it easier to navigate as well as updating some things that were never added or were not completely added to the original.
10) Do you have anything else to add before our interview is finished?
A: Just that members that want to join the VEEC but don�t have any skills right now should watch the VEEC page because we will be putting out an academy sometime in the coming month.
