Here's how it went (bits of it, anyway):
Photosynthesis: brief question, but the diagram made no sense at all, so I waffled about ATP for a bit, and forgot how to spell chloroplast.
Photograph: meaningless. Meiosis or mitosis, bets, anyone?
Genetics: lots and lots, including (you've guessed it) the good old peppered moth. Where would we be without it.
Mostly ok, apart from one bizzare question that asked for the use of an equation I had never heard of (well, I had heard of, just hadn't revised) even though it could be done without anything complicated . . .
And then there was the damn st+ gene . . . the most fiddly punnet square I have ever made . . .But the essays were cool, all together now, three cheers for eutrophication!!
All in all, I could do with a drink . . .
Next exam: English Paper One (Poetry), three hours and 4000 words of the most agonising hand cramps you could imagine . . .
Will Schnapps find her old form and get 100% on the unseen poetry? Will the Pardoner's Tale question permit her sly use of humour? And will the Keats essay result in her insulting the poor man viciously, or will it instead involve Sleep And Poetry?
More importantly, will she decide to get home early and revise on Saturday, or will she decide to stay out with her friends all night and get plastered on the vodka and Red Bull she has only recently discovered?
Could this be the end of the reign of Archer's Peach Schnapps as her favorite drink?
All this, and more, will be revealed, here, in the VE Lounge Comnet, on Monday . . .
