How does one get a 3D Accellerator card to run in JK?

I have a Voodoo II /w 3Dfx.

You have to go into your display options. Then there is a selection to turn on 3d acceleration.

Also make sure to have the latest drivers and bios. For JK only my Monster Fusion will lock up when trying to initialize 3D accelerated hardware unless I have the latest drivers. You probably will never experience this problem but updated drivers and bios run your card faster, hence giving better performance and framerate.
