Hello everyone, Field Marshall Majere's protocol droid here with some very interesting news. Although the battle board has been kinda slow these last few days we got a newcommer. This newcommer is a known ace throughout the galaxy and has already briefly demonstrated his expert flying skills. In an XWA match against the current Top Gun pilot Commander Athran, Captain Donitz wiped the galaxy with him. The match ended with Captain Donitz 5 kills and no deaths! So good luck everyone, because now you will need it. Congradulations on the win Captain Donitz.

You'll find out more next tuesday. The High Council has approved a new ranking structure and I have decided to demote myself to Field Marshall. I will earn my rank just like everyone else

Now I'm even more confused, saying as Field Marshall isn't even a Navy rank, surely the logical demotion would be to High Admiral?

Hang on, Field Marshall isn't even a rank at all, what's goin' on . . .
Not that I care too much about new ranking structures, saying as it's technically against the rules to be a WC at the rank of 1LT, hehe

Like I said, there is a new ranking structure in the Vast Empire as a whole. The rank of Field Marshall is between High Admiral and Grand Admiral as it's supposed to be. As for your lieutenant rank, it is my understanding that until you have completed your Wing Commander training you will remain a 1Lt until you have finished it. I urge you to consult in your commander about your status.
