1) It is with a heavy heart that I announce the retirement of High General Sesswanna and Fleet Admiral Niksavel. They contributed a lot to their respective divisions and I really hate to see them leave. HG Sesswanna will be staying with the VE Army as an Advisor and FA Niksavel will be transferred to the Reserve Corps in the Navy. DJK Sesswanna is being transferred to the Rogue Sect while SM Niksavel will remain as Dark Lord of the Sith. I wish them both the best of luck in their new roles.
2) Well last I heard the Vast Empire was at 180 members! Well although this is great news I was recently informed that this number has gone down some in the Navy. This is only a temporary set back since we received some new recruits to backfill those positions. The VE Campaign that will be starting immediately will also help out with the activity. I expect full participation and support from everyone with this campaign since it will be heavily reflecting the VE's activity. I would really hate to have to announce loss after VE loss.
3) It is with great pleasure that I announce the following promotions: Everyone in the VE understands that CEO Threeof4 has been with the Vast Empire from its beginnings. Threeof4 is not only a good friend, but he is loyal to the Vast Empire beyond belief. His work can be seen throughout the Vast Empire. It is with great pleasure that I promote CEO Threeof4 to the military equivalent rank of: Moff. This new rank does come with some additional responsibility. He now has full authority in the Vast Empire to take the initiate on any special VE projects to include: battles, campaigns, etc. He still reports directly to me but I can assure you that what he says is along the same lines as what me and GM Kadann says. CEO Threeof4 now has access to any and all information I have. When GM Kadann and I leave the Vast Empire for any amount of time he is in charge and may select a temporary High Council XO. If Kadann has to leave he will be automatically selected as the High Council XO. Also, I have officially selected a new Prefect for the Army. Congratulations, GENERAL Crysus on his promotion and selection as the next VE Army Prefect. With the resignation of FA Niksavel I am hereby promoting Admiral Scarecrow to the position of Fleet Commander. Both individuals are considered in training, once they complete their training they will receive another rank and given voting rights in the Vast Empires High Council.
4) This is the part that I like the most, Awards and Decorations. Year 2000 Best overall Division (note: this is effective from 1 March 1999 to 1 March 2000) is: VE Army � although they have had a lot of changes in leadership they have remained the most active division overall in the Vast Empire. However, next year might change since the Navy is getting more and more active these days, the Engineering Corps is producing a lot of kewl stuff, and the Dark Jedi Division is getting on its feet. Every current member of the Army may place the medal: The Empire�s Own Medal {EOM} � Vice Admiral Donitz is by far the best pilot in the Vast Empire. Therefore it is my pleasure to issue to him the Top Gun of the Year Award. He may now add: {TOP GUN} to his ID line. His devotion and loyalty to the Vast Empire is greatly appreciated. FA Niksavel � VE Seal:Bronze Star � Niksavels devotion and loyalty to the Navy is second to none. Although he has had some problems with the Navy in the past you have to admit that he is dedicated to the VE. Now that is it for the High Council promotions and awards.
5) 5) Now as you all know Grand Master Kadann is hard at work developing a lot of programs to make the Vast Empire a more realistic star wars experience. Since I am the Acting Deputy Grand Master it is my responsibility to pick up any slack in the Dark Jedi Division. Normally I would announce the Sect of the year award but since the VEDJ is so new I simply cannot do that. The Sith already had a good structure set up. They are clearly the largest and most active Sect in the VEDJ. However, Krath Pontifex Schnapps and DJK Sesswanna has worked very hard to create from scratch the Krath Order. Both sects have come a very long way in a very short time. I wont be going into any more detail than that since our Jedi Order is a secretive society. Therefore it is my pleasure to award the Sects of Griffin, Lion, and Eagle with 1 fully armed Escort Shuttle, 1 protocol droid, and 1 Corellian Corvette! Now keep in mind that if the VEDJ does very well in the upcoming campaign that they can get their equipment upgraded. So I for one am hoping that the Jedi Order shows the Navy and Army what activity is all about!

Please note that the VE Campaign will be posted in a seperate message. I would like to ask General Crysus and Admiral Scarecrow to please make an official announcement about their respective divisions to incude any recent promotions and awards/decorations.
