VE Meeting Agenda

1) Things in the New Imperium are as always pretty slow. However, there are 2 very important issues going on at the moment within the New Imperium. First is the Diktat elections are about to begin. Diktat Dogger has decided to run again and it seems that nobody else wants to run against him at the moment. I have always been a big supporter of Dogger and if he wasn�t going to run, then I would instead. However, since Dogger is running for Diktat then I will not throw my hat into the ring. Another big item is the new SoH structure. Although there are some people who disagree with what Grand Master Sauron has done, he is hoping that this new structure will boost SoH membership.
2) It is with great pleasure that I award Lieutenant General Christiana with the following medal:
The Eagle's Claw Medallion - The Eagle's Claw is given out to those members who have recruited a lot of people for the Vast Empire as a whole. Although no specific number is announced only those who have significantly recruited members for the Vast Empire will be awarded this medallion. This medallion may be recommended by anyone in the High Council and may only be approved by the Head of the High Council or the Executive Officer. ID line: {ECM}

3) The VE Dark Jedi is running very smoothly these days. We now have a total of 14 members! Dark Initiate Vaderchx has completed another phase and has been promoted to Dark Journeyman! Also, I am currently recruiting for a Lord/Lady of the Lion Sect. I have already sent my request to someone and hopefully that person will accept in a day or two. Eagle Sect now has a website, because of this I am upgrading their Tie Fighter squadron to Tie Interceptors! Congratulations Eagle Sect on a fine website!
4) The VE Daily: Some of you know that I have a reporter doing some fiction on the message board under VE Lounge called The VE Daily. She posts information from time to time that can be very helpful to those that want to create fiction, graphics, missions, etc etc. I encourage everyone to go to the message board and read the VE Daily whenever a new issue comes out. Also, anyone that wants to do an article of his or her own can submit it to [email protected]. The article will be forwarded to the reporter where she will post it in the next VE Daily.
5) Monthly newsletter: At the end of this month I will come out with a monthly newsletter (mostly text and reports from each divisional leader for now). At first the monthly newsletter is not going to be pretty. For now it will include reports from each divisional leader and myself. I will announce news, The VE Daily, divisional competition news, current campaign news, submissions, and a misc. section. Everyone will be allowed to submit anything they want that has anything to do with the Vast Empire and Star Wars. In the monthly newsletter will be a monthly training exercise for all pilots and troopers to play. Anyone that completes the training exercises will be issued a certificate. The members with the most certificates will be eligible for promotion within their Division. Due date for submissions are the 20th of every month. Due date for emergency submissions is the 25th, and High Council submissions the 30th. GET THOSE SUBMISSIONS AND REPORTS IN ASAP!
6) On a personal note. I have started my MCSE training. This is taking up most of my game playing time so please excuse my absence during the week. I will still be available during the weekends though and I should be making more of a presence during those times. I am also online a lot during the weekday mornings for basic chat.
7) The Vast Empire Campaign: No news currently on the development of these missions. This is mainly due to CEO Threeof4 and his people are very hard at work.
8) I have found a very popular (with a high amount of traffic) website. It is called the Top 100 Star Wars websites. I have already added the Vast Empire to this list so please goto our main website and start voting for us! Let�s show Grand Master Kadann that his work is exceptional!
9) Finally, according to the last rosters that I have received here are some basic numbers to show how many people are in the Vast Empire:
a. High Council � 6 members
b. Dark Jedi Division � 14 members
c. Navy � 49 members
d. Engineering Corps � 4 members
e. Army � 37 members
f. Total � 110 members
So after the last few months in the slump we are now getting a steady stream of applications. This is due to the work that each and every one of you does on a daily basis. I commend all of you. Finally, congratulations to everyone in the Vast Empire to climbing over that 100 member mark!!!!!
