I have some good and bad news today so I decided not to wait until tomorrows meeting announce them because of the importance they have one our club.

First the bad news and then the good news:

1) Admiral Schnapps and Major Archer has resigned completely from the Vast Empire. All of their advisor (and the High Council Ambassador) positions have been vacated due to some personal reasons that have been sent to me via e-mail. However, Admiral Schnapps has asked to remain in our new Dark Jedi Division as a Krath member so that she can help set that up. I certainly wish Schnapps/Archer the best of luck in ALL of her future endeavors. She has been an inspiration to us all as well as a very loyal officer. There have been times when she has been at great odds against her superior officers. However, she has always put her service to the Vast Empire above all of that. As Ambassador she has not only helped with the New Imperium Senate she even achieved in making a great alliance with the CGF's Imperial Fleet. Although I will certainly miss her as Ambassador, and HG Spartacus and FA Niksavel will miss her as their advisor, we are all happy that she will remain with us in our Dark Jedi Division.

2) With AD Schnapps' resignation the Ambassador's position is available. The is the only High Council position that is available to someone as an additional duty. The Ambassador will represent the Vast Empire to the New Imperium. The Ambassador will also search out other clubs to ally ourselves with. The Ambassador sits as a voting High Council member (#6 spot) working directly for me and Grand Master Kadann. Any and all applications/questions should be sent to both of us.

3) I have just received word that the voting process for the new NI Constitution is completed. This new constitution allows the Vast Empire more freedom to explore not only the possibility of a Dark Jedi Division, but even our own intense plotline! We will still of course be participating in the many upcoming competitions and wars that the New Imperium is working on, but we now have the freedom to take a step back to concentrate on the Vast Empire and our own fictional enemies.

4) With the passing of the new NI constitution the Vast Empire's Dark Jedi Division is now open to all "VE" members. In the past I was only accepting current Dark Jedi from the SoH, the DB, and the old Special Forces Division; however that has changed to any and all current VE members. Eventually that will change to anyone who wants to join. Right now the training is fairly easy since it is only written journeys and a written test. However, eventually it will also cover playable SP game platform missions. We will not be opening the Dark Jedi Division to the outside world until we have completely set up the training for it. However, current/loyal VE members may sign up now to get a head start on helping us set up the Dark Jedi Division. Keep in mind that we only want people who is willing to put some work into the Dark Jedi Division. If all you want to do is play games and be a jedi then our division is not for you. If you are not interested in helping the Dark Council set up this division then let me know and I will help you join our Society of Shadow's allies where they are already completely set up and looking for jedi applications. All applications to enter our new Dark Jedi Division should be sent to me starting now.

5) Although I did not receive the monthly report from some of my High Council Officers I will still be producing the monthly newsletter. I am working on it today and it should be available to everying tomorrow night. I am now accepting submissions for next months newsletter.

6) Finally, I am pleased to announce the Vast Empire's new award, "The Empire's Own." This award will be given to the Vast Empires best overall division. This award is based on applications, keeping the websites updated, and overall activity. As soon as I get someone to develop a graphic for this new award I will allow that division to post it on their websites until the following month where I will be announcing the new winner. This months winner for "The Empire's Own" is:

Army (under the command of High General Spartacus)

Effective immediately HG Spartacus may pay each and every single Army member 50,000 imperial credits (the credits for each member are subject to HG Spartacus' approval).
