VE Meeting Agenda

1) Vote in the High Command/Council going around about possibly leaving the New Imperium. So if you are a VE member please make your opinion heard to any High Command Officer now (preferably via e-mail). If you are a non-VE member then please make your opinion known to me. Although the vote currently is leading towards leaving the New Imperium the High Council has decided to wait until after Diktat Dogger�s reorganization.
2) VE Job Description Reorganization going to happen real soon. Once we have decided whether or not to leave the NI or stay in it we will be having job description reorganization. Some people�s job descriptions will change slightly to include some fiction. The Tactical Officers for the Army and the Navy will be getting more responsibility, more prestige, and more power in the very near future. Things have yet to be completely worked out though. A few ideas going around the Vast Empire is making it mandatory for whoever has the TAC job to be able to develop missions to most of the game platforms that the division supports. More rank and pay will be given to that officer along with the possible ability to be able to award medals and give promotions to those pilots who develop missions. So if you have any suggestions about what a Tactical Officer should do make it known to your specific Divisional Tactical Officer now so that he/she can get their opinions into me asap.
3) The Vast Empire will be opening up a new Division real soon. This division is going to be specifically a Dark Jedi Division and Grand Moff Kadann will manage it. For those members of the Society of Shadows that wants to transfer to the VE�s Dark Jedi Division will be given the same equivalent rank and position in the VE Dark Jedi Division. What that means is that nobody will be forced into a demotion, however I do reserve the right to promote anyone I see fit who can handle a job that I need them for in the Dark Jedi Division. Also, keep in mind that everyone still has the option to remain in the SoH. It�s just that I am no longer forcing our force users to join another club. Everyone can expect more information about this new division soon. If you are currently a VE member and would like to join our new division please e-mail me. Keep in mind that your training will not start until after the division is open. However, if you are in the SoH then you can keep going at your current rank. All trained jedi will be deeply involved in setting up this new division. The Dark Jedi Division so far has 10 total members (2 Krath, 2 Jedi Masters, and 6 Sith).
4) The VE Daily: Some of you know that I have a reporter doing some fiction on the message board under VE Lounge called The VE Daily. She posts information from time to time that can be very helpful to those that want to create fiction, graphics, missions, etc etc. I encourage everyone to go to the message board and read the VE Daily whenever a new issue comes out. Also, anyone that wants to do an article of his or her own can submit it to [email protected]. The article will be forwarded to the reporter where she will post it in the next VE Daily.
5) Monthly newsletter: Up until now the Vast Empire has not done a newsletter of any type. I am going to change that starting now. At the end of this month I will come out with a monthly newsletter (mostly text and reports from each divisional leader for now). At first the monthly newsletter is not going to be pretty. For now it will include reports from each divisional leader and myself. I will announce news, The VE Daily, divisional competition news, current campaign news, submissions, and a misc. section. Everyone will be allowed to submit anything they want that has anything to do with the Vast Empire and Star Wars. In the monthly newsletter will be a monthly training exercise for all pilots and troopers to play. Anyone that completes the training exercises will be issued a certificate. The members with the most certificates will be eligible for promotion within their Division.
6) Weekly meetings: Right now they are 6pm US Eastern every Tuesday in the #Vast_Empire on the undernet. To make your own voice heard I encourage each and everyone of you to attend. However, if you are unable to you will get the log via e-mail. I will be sending it to the divisional leaders after the meetings. Also, everyone is authorized 1,000 imperial credits for just attending the meetings (you must contact your divisional Personnel Officer to get the credits). When I send the log I will also include a roster of everyone that attended so the Personnel Officers from each Division can add the necessary pay.
7) The Vast Empire Campaign: Effective immediately all VE-wide campaigns will be given to our Engineering Corps for production (this does not include any campaigns the army or navy develop on their own). Grand Moff Kadann and I will be talking in depth with CEO Threeof4 to make sure that any campaign goes off the way we want it to. I expect full support from all divisions. CEO Threeof4 will need people to test out his game platform missions. However, the testers will be confined to High Command personnel only. This is so that all pilots and troopers are surprised and more fun when the campaign is finally offered. Right now CEO Threeof4 is working on a campaign. Because of it�s classified nature I will not say anything about it. I will let CEO Threeof4 give you any information he feels that you need. I can say this, promotions will only be handed out to those that take part in the campaigns.
8) All VESF members are currently being transferred to the Dark Jedi Division. All Elite Troopers will have the rank of Dark Jedi Knights and all Royal Guards will have the rank of Sith Warrior (or Krath equivalent to SW). Effective immediately the VESF is closed and all elite squadrons are the responsibility of the Army and Navy respectively.
9) I know that this is a lot of information for everyone to digest. For that I apologize. We will be having weekly meetings every Tuesday even if I have to get another High Council officer to run it for me. If you think that the meetings are too early or too late then give me some suggestions.
10) Finally, some good news. Effective Immediately Grand Moff Kadann will now be known as Grand Master Kadann. Keep in mind that this is mainly a rank name change. Grand Master Kadann has always been at the forefront of teaching our Vast Empire members the way of the force and I want to continue this by awarding him the Vast Empire�s first Grand Master title. For now on all force members shall bow when entering his presence. The only exception is me, since I not only outrank him, but I am also still his master. Grand Master Kadann shall oversee the Dark Council of 9 and I will sit on the Dark Council as a fellow member. What that basically means is that we are leaving the Deputy Grand Master position open for a future Dark Jedi Master to achieve. Once again, congratulations Grand Master Kadann.
