Greetings members of the Vast Empire and the New Imperium,

In a bold move at reclaiming the Naroon Quadrant, and with the permission of the New Imperium Senate. I have sent taskforce Devastator to the Vol System. Also, to protect the taskforce supply lines I have sent the SSD Mustang to the newly conquered Vonsam System. Taskforce Devastator has been ordered to reclaim the Vol System, which is a key system in our quest to reclaim the Naroon Quadrant. The New Republic has a small base of operations there so the battle is going to be a little more difficult than the Vonsam System is. However, I dont think that will pose too much of a problem with our increase of support with the New Imperium. I have received word from other New Imperium Senators that we should be receiving support from other NI Fleets in the way of capitol ships, supplies, etc. So far Taskforce Devastator includes:

ISD-II Devastator (VE)
2 VSDs (VE)
3 FRGs (VE)
Numerous corvettes and freighters for supply purposes (NI)

Now Taskforce Mustang has been sent to the Vonsam System to help the suffering Vonsam citizens who have suffered at the hands of the New Republic. They are also there to make sure that supply lines stay strong and unbroken. Taskforce Mustang includes the following ships so far:

SSD Mustang
4 VSDs (VE)
1 INT (VE)
1 FRG (VE)
Numerous corvettes and freighters for supply purposes (NI)

Taskforce Devastator is under the command of Fleet Admiral Niksavel and Taskforce Mustang is under the command of myself. Other fleets may also add taskforces or capitol ships but as of this date this is what the New Imperium has sent to the Vol System.

The following are new updates regarding the NIvsUGR war:

1) All submissions should goto CEO Threeof4 ([email protected])
2) The Battle for Vol will last 7 weeks (Oct. 2) with 2 weeks off-time (Oct. 3 through Oct 16)
3) The points for multiplayer battles are now: 5 points per loss and 10 points per win.

All other rules and regulations governing the war have not changed.

The following are the statistics of the Vol System:

Vol

Vol is a system of one inhabited planet, though small, which is known mostly for pleasant smelling trees which are exported all over the galaxy.

Sapient Species: Human, and various aliens
Starport: Standard class

Vol Prime is known throughout the galaxy for its famous pleasant smelling, expensive, trees. The trees are so famous that this entire planet economy is based on them.

The inhabitants of Vol Prime use the arid soil found here on their trees back home to work miracles with planet growth, but surprisingly not a sign of indigenous life can be found here.
