As you all might or might not know, our beloved leader, Field Marhsal Majere has taken Short Leave and will be back with us tomorrow. In the meantime I am in charge of the Vast Empire as the Acting Head of the High Council. * `Dingo is now known as CPT_Dingo * Marenta ([email protected]) has left #vast_empire As you all know, this weeks biggest new is that the New Imperium, spearheaded by our own valiant troops have won in the Vonsam system conflict against the New Republic UGR threat. The previously neutral, heavily populated and resorce rich Vonsam system is now under the Vast Empire command. I would like to personally congratulate to everyone who participated in the war especially to Vice Admiral Donitz who has earned the most points in the entire war and is the recipient of the MVP - Most Valuable Player title, as recognized by all New Imperium Fleets and the UGR. Vice Admiral Donitz has also been awarded the Vast Empire Seal (VES) and the Merit Cross Second Class medal (MC 2nd) by Field Marshal Caramon Majere, Head of the High Council of the Vast Empire. Everyone who participated in the war is awarded the Vonsam Conflict Medal and those who exelled have been also awarded futher merit medals. Here is the list of all the recipients on the Vonsam Conflict Medal (with any possible aditional medals): Field Marshall Caramon Majere Vice Admiral Donitz (Vast Empire Seal, Merit Cross Second Class) (Navy) Captain Cabbel (Merit Cross Second Class) (Navy) Rear Admiral (L) Sesswanna (Navy) Major General Spartacus (HC) Private Forbidden (Army) Captain Destroyer (Navy) Sargeant Shadow Dragon General Viper (Army) Fleet Admiral Niksavel (Merit Cross Second Class) (Navy) Commander DarkStar (Navy) Master Sargeant Jackal (Navy) Admiral Schnapps (Navy) Vice Admiral Black Hawk (Navy) Chief Executive Officer/General Threeof4 (Vast Empire Seal)(VEEC) The medal will be emailed to all of the Navy and High Council recipients, and I expect General Viper will pass it on to the Army. Now for the Navy report: From the Office of the Fleet Commander: I am pleased to announce the Vast Empire Navy uniforms - finished. The zip file containing all pic needed as well as instructions on how to use them will be posted in the VEN Operations Office, as well as the Vast Empire Naval HQ website. * CabHngovr is now known as `Cabbel E-mail me if you want a uniform -> [D\|Away] PING I am currently sending the file to CPT Destroyer -> [Sesswanna] PING after that he shall distribute it thorugh the fleet its coming slowely but its coming also, remamber to send a copy to RA Sesswanna for the Naval HQ website sure (Sess put it under ministry/OPS manual I expect too see MUCH more participation in the the next engagement with the UGR and New Republic expecially from our elite Avenger squadron which was formed recently. Let's go for double their points, shall we? Also to spice it up a bit I am proposing a bet of 1,000,000 ICs (ONE MILLION Imperial CREDITS) to Vice Admiral Donitz, that I will have more points in the next engagement thin him! After the meeting, the Navy will hold a fun trivia quiz, which we hope will become a standard after the meetings. The quiz will be conducted by our newly appointed Morale Officer, Commander Jackal. The rules are simple: The first person that answers the question correctly will get 100 ICs credited to their account. There will also be a final bonus question that will be worth 1000 ICs. But as CM Jackal appears to be unable to get online tonight, we might reschedule it if he doesn't show up... I will do ti Now off to the rest of the Navy Command Staff... me? FM_Majere unregistered	posted August 11, 1999 10:20 AM I would also like to add that the Vast Empire's Engineering Corps is now officially open and ready for business. I want everyone to send their requests to CEO Threeof4 where he will in turn hand it down to the necessary members or even the nCSA. CEO Threeof4 is now in charge of all capitol ship and starfighter production, game platform mission creation, research and development, and anything else I need them for, hehe. Congradulations to the CEO Threeof4 and all of his VEEC members. I am sure everyone will agree that this division was long overdue and if he needs anything that he can count on all of us. Also, congradulations to all of the VE members that gained medals in the last battle.
