1. Apologize for being absent last week.
2. Plotline Update:
a. Lorn System: Despite a lot of traffic in an out of the Lorn System there has been no attacks from any pirate clans or the New Republic.
b. Erewhon System: Numerous attacks from the Pirate Clan Panther against the Vast Empire�s Army Base of Operations. Numerous casualties have been reported. Marshall Viper is asking for any help in getting the VE Army back up and operating for a counter strike. Lot�s of activity in the Intel Base somewhere in the Erewhon System as MG Sparticus gets things ready for the arrival of their VSD-II Thrawn�s Fury. The Squadron of T/A Starfighters that has been stationed on the Intel base for some time has been completely refit and is once again ready for action.
c. Rodin System: High smuggler activity is being reported. Nothing is known about these groups of smugglers because none of them have been captured yet. It is rumored that the New Republic is behind these activities and is even giving them assistance at times.
d. Rilke System: Pirate Clan Panther has been spotted attacking supply lines into and out of this system. Fleet Admiral Von Reinthaler has been asked to look into this.
e. Gracchus System: Supply lines is being attacked into and out of this system by New Republic and smuggling clans. Pirate clans have been spotted attacking cities and platforms in this system. 2 VE diplomats have been captured so far and the local governor is asking for more support and protection. Good news in this system as the local governors has been supplied with some defenses. Grand Admiral Majere has sent some outdated (but still effective) starfighters to protect the 2 planets within the Gracchus System (10 squadrons of Tie Fighters, 5 Squadrons of Tie Bombers, and 3 Squadrons of Tie Interceptors. All spread out amongst the 2 planets). Thankx can go out to our starfighter factories that have been working overtime to get all of our ships supplied with all of the current demands.
3. VESF Orders:
a. Systems Quinin and Amasar have been scouted and recorded. Intel Agents are currently looking at the data. Some preliminary information has been recorded and is available for anyone who wishes to look at it.
b. Elite Trooper Sesswanna is hereby ordered to scout out the system of: Kronecker of Naroon Quadrant
c. Elite Trooper Niksavel is hereby ordered to create a training mission for future VESF Trainee�s. It should either be a Tie Fighter, XvsT, BoP, or XWA mission.
d. Elite Trooper Spartacus is hereby ordered to travel to the Vonsam system and rescue a VE diplomat that is rumored to have been taken there. This should be an indepth story. I will grade this on acuracy of equipment and/or force powers. He must also keep working on last weeks orders.
e. Attention ALL VESF Trainees and also anyone who wants to apply to enter the VESF. Because High Sovereign Protector/Lord Kadann will be taking a leave of absence all applications, tests, etc should be e-mailed to me until Lord Kadann�s return.
4. Vast Empire Official Holidays: March 1st (VE Anniversary) and April 20th (VE Navy opens).
5. The Society of Shadows is looking for a few good jedi to join their ranks. Anyone interested should e-mail me and I will make sure you are taken care of. As everyone knows the SoH is where we send all of our Dark Jedi. They are not to be confused with our Special Forces Division. Although our Special Forces Division does use force it is considered only one weapon among many that we use. The SoH however uses the force in everything they do. While you can only rise in rank to Dark Jedi Knight in the VESF you can train to become a Master in the way of the force in the SoH.
6. The Navy website is outdated, please update the information. Also, I need a URL for the Army website asap.
7. Bad news for the Army. BG Darth Haun is having school problems in RL so his computer privaledges have been taken away. He is trying to get back online as soon as possible so don�t expect to much out of him for a little while.
8. Battle board has been completely inactive lately. If anyone knows of an update that I may have missed or that I need to make please e-mail me asap. Any questions about the battle board, let me know. http://www.guston.com/ve/bb
9. Finally, awards and decorations time. Not very many people know that the VE does have some awards that I personally award to VE members for their outstanding service to the VE as a whole. However, I do and I will be uploading them to the website very soon. However, I would like to announce a few awards for our members:
A. GM Kadann, for his exemplary service to the Vast Empire as a whole, is hereby awarded with the Medal of Honor {MoH}
B. FA Von Reinthaler, for his outstanding service to the Vast Empire, and especially to the Navy, is hereby awarded the Royal Crest Medallion {RCM}
C. VA Niksavel, for his outstanding work for the Vast Empire Navy is hereby awarded the Vast Empire Seal {VES}
