I don't kno if this would work, but it struck me that the VE channel is usually pretty empty. So, would it be possible to put a converation program in as a bot or something? Could that be done? After a while, it would learn to talk like us . . . we could call it Thrawn2, or something . . . so anyway, would that be possible? ------------------ IP: 195.92.199.10 |

Hmm. In the early days of the Vast Empire, before it moved to Undernet, we had a bot called 'VE'. It was very impressive, it allowed VEHC members to privately communicate having a clandestine chatroom in it, allowed VEHC members to speak in the main #vast_empire through the bot (hehe, which really spooked the new VE members thinking the bot was a real person), controlled channel topics and who was given ops...I even believe it logged the main channel. I am not sure if the bot was made by Moff Vader [ret.], or Threeof4. Perhaps the old VE bot could be utilized again for Undernet. Probably the person to talk to about programming a new mIRC bot would be the current Vast Empire Logistics Officer, Threeof4.
