I have just received word from the local Gracchus governments (Gracchus Prime and Grachomus; 1st and 4th planets in the Gracchus System). They have asked for membership into the Vast Empire and I have accepted. This is our first system that we did not have to take by force. This system which is rich resources is going to make a fine addition to the Vast Empire. The main reason why they have asked for membership is because they are getting a lot of attacks from pirates (the fools that we kicked out of Lorn 4), smugglers, and they are also tired of being spied on by the New Republic. They will remain self governing with Vast Empire protection. They will also be giving the VE 20 percent of all of their profits. We have also been givin rights to set up any type of base we want. Therefore, I hereby order Admiral Von Reinthaler and the VE Navy to send a team to the system as a show of force and protection. I would also like for someone to goto the system and scout the entire system to find out exactly what's there. Make up a document like the ones already made for Lorn, Rilke, Rodin, and Erewhon. This is a great day for us all. Oh, also I found out the name of the Quadrant we are located in. Naroon Quadrant - Epsilon Sector. This is a great day for the Vast Empire.
