Welcome one and all to the Vast Empire's FIRST Anniversary Celebration! I pondered going over a long and indepth speech because there are so much I would like to talk about
However, some of us have bed-times (/me looks at Sesswanna and Sparticus) which force me to keep it short
This last year has been extremely rocky. We came from underneath a block-headed dictator of an Imperial Warlord to what I like to call a "TEAM" of Imperial Professionals. It will be because of our "TEAM" that we bring an end to the New Republic's rule and once again restore order to this chaotic galaxy.
We came from a meager (yet powerful) 4 Imperial Star Destroyers to a fleet of imperial warships that is matched by few of our allies. We started out with 1 system, and now we hold 4 systems. We started out with a bunch of people retiring, and now we have a High Council and Command that is stronger than any command I have ever had the pleasure of commanding before.
We started out with no alliances, and now we have the New Imperium and the MAW Installation to name but a few. And finally, we started out barely active. And now we have things going on constantly. Behind me is a curtain that shadows a picture. A picture that will turn into a reality with the current success of our shipyards and factories.

I usually don't care much for massive machines of firepower. I agree with the late Darth Vader when he said "that technilogical terror is nothing compared to the power of the dark side." However this is a personal project of mine that I will not be holding back anymore.
Everyone knows I have a Naval background, that my love for capitol ships and starfighters are not matched by many people. Therefore, I dub this command ship "M/SSD Mustang." This capitol ship, when it's finished being built, will be my personal flagship.
It will also be the mainstay of the Vast Empire's Special Forces Division. Even the ship captain, pilots, and stormtroopers will be from the Special Forces Division. All of their training and missions will be conducted on this command ship.
. Because of the technilogical advances of our shipyards the launch date for this command ship will be January 1st, 2000. And in conclusion, I want to say that exciting things are going to happen this coming year. We plan on finally taking the battle to the New Republic by taking back one of their currently held systems.
. We also plan on taking part in many new and exciting tournaments and competitions with our allies. Many new and exciting things are happening in the Vast Empire. I urge each and everyone of you to do your part, and support the Vast Empire and our allies by helping me make our dreams for the future of this galaxy come true.

We have come a long way from our beginning...
and we are just now breaching new ground!!
I feel that the activity of this organization is/will be picking up, because of all of our ideas that we are putting forward
Starting the Navy was the first step...and has had some minor set-backs when we first started it, but now it growing rather rapidly.
then we started joining up with the NI, which gave us a plan, and way to go about things.
Now the VESF is going strong, and are going to start doing things for the VE.
We are now starting the Vast Empire Bank system, which will be a great asset to us all.
It will be integrated with the store/stock market/casino/etc. so that it will always to up to date with your latest account information.
I have already (almost) finished the scripting for the VE Bank.
It is ready to release (the store/stocks/casino will come at a later date)

He has been extremely loyal to the Vast Empire right from the beginning and continued to do so when he re-vamped the Vast Empire's website and brought in the alliance of the MAW Installation.

I applaud his efforts and I now feel extremely confident that if I have to take a leave of absence that he will do just fine with leading the Vast Empire on his own.

prominent and active members, and I must say I am proud to have you with us.
I want to encourage everyone to keep it going, as we have some very exciting times ahead for the NI, especially regarding the Plotline...
Be sure to check out the NI Meeting on Friday as well, where I should be giving a short seminar on the Plotline and answering any questions you may have...
I am also proud of the excellent relations between the VE and the SoH, and the ease in transition in the merging of our two Jedi groups. Greetings members of the Vast Empire club, I am Hal "Biggs" Lightman, Speaker of the Unified Galactic Republic High Council and co-founder of the SWGL
I have seen the rise and fall of many clubs in the SWGL, and have noticed that they all try their best to stay active
I am pleased to state that the Vast Empire is perhapes one of the more active club within the SWGL and I am sure that it will bring pride, honor, and reputation for the SWGL

We--the SWGL--are the largest online SW organization in the world, and everyone of you should strive your best to make the VE and the SWGL more then it is now. Make it thrive, make it sore beyond it's confines
When Iver and I founded the SWGL, we did not think it would turn out this large. I know that I am very proud of what it turned into, and I am sure that if Iver were here, he would say the same thing

I recommend reading them all. However, as they go along they have more and more effect, so you could miss some of the first if you had to.
Since some of the earlier ones had to do with our breaking from the EH.

we are going by the XvT game
The games and virtually all written materials say 8 km... However according to the movies and a few other sources it is actually about 20
except ours is slightly larger,,or it will be
