I'm looking for someone willing to pay more. One person said he'd pay 34 MILLION for it.(if he needed one or had that much). The ship isn't a Bi-plane, it's a frigate.IP: 24.112.158.22 |

What kind of condition is it in? Does it have any scratches on the doors? What about the paint? And how often do you change the oil? I might go as high as $5.50 if it is in pristine condition.AD Scarecrow

The guy that would pay 34 million has to be either a new VE recruit or an idiot.Having seen Scarecrow's post, I have decided to increase my bid. I would buy it for $6.00 Seems a pretty good trade to me. Only a fool would pass it up! IP: 24.237.11.25 |

You would have to be insane to pay 40 million credits for a frigate. Even a million credits would probably buy it.There is probably only like one person in the VE with 40 million credits and that is the exact sum of their bank account. You need to lower your price. See . . . your price has to be lower than what it is selling for in the store or otherwise, we will not buy it. IP: 24.237.11.25 |

Yeah, the other day i picked up a free frigate from Sess. It wasn't THAT old... just a couple of weeks. TJ, who'd you talk into giving you 40million ic's for a frigate? I think the VE Consumer Protection and Enviromental Safety Board (a division of the High Council) has to have a look at the raw deal if it's over like 1 million IC's (http://vastempire.homepad.com/Consumer_Protection/). Well, definitely someone should look into this. I have never heard of $40 million Imperial credits for one little old clunker of a frigate.TJ, are you lying about the $40 million? I mean, who offered you $40 million in the first place? Majere? They must have meant for all ten of the frigates. Either way, Christi does have a point with the VE Consumer Protection being called in on this. IP: 24.237.11.25 |

Well, now honestly, Crysus . . . $40 million? $40 MILLION IMPERIAL CREDITS??? It is outrageous. Heck, I never got 1/4th that pay when I was the Prefect of the Army. I am not sure if even Majere earns that much in a year. And for one measly frigate? The offer had to be bogus. You could buy probably one or two Imperial-class Star Destroyers for that much.IP: 24.237.11.25 |

I have a few things to say: 1. The person just priced it, he doesn't even have that much. 2. It wasn't 40 million, it was 34 million. 3. I'll lower the price, but I'm selling it for no less than 50,000 ic's. I hope this makes you all happy. IP: 24.112.158.22 |

I have a question . . . The CC-9600 is not available in the VE Store. The item cannot be purchased or sold by VE members. So where did you get it? I mean, we were about to pay real Imperial credits we have earned for maybe years for an imaginary ship that we will never be able to pawn, sell or trade officially in the Vast Empire???Did you just invent that you had ten frigates? Secondly, it is an Alliance ship. The Empire does not use it. It would be like the New Republic using Star Destroyers.IP: 24.237.11.25 |

Hmmm....#1 - I priced it. According to the RPG stats that I remembered, an ISD costs 250 million credits. I asked TJ how many frigates it would take to have comparable firepower to an ISD and simply divided. That's how I got the price. #2 - Rebels do use Star Destroyers. Dumb. Donitz IP: 208.236.173.1 |

That is rather odd. Must be something by a Star Trek author because:In the first Star Wars books (especially the Thrawn Trilogy and other novels), it continuously states that the New Republic did not want to resemble the Empire in any way. Luke did not like moving the New Republic capitol to Coruscant for that reason. Why would they use the Star Destoyer? It is the ultimate symbol of the Empire. Anyway, that is besides the point. Where did TJ get the frigates? He has to have made them up because you cannot buy them at the VE Store.

I received for writing the story, since I included it in the story and people thought it was a good story. It isn't make believe, it is in the Rebellion Manual.IP: 24.112.158.22 |

Don't ask me why rebels use Star Destroyers. Probably for the same reason as always - they're idiotic hypocrites.I know that they have used them because they captured two Star Destroyers at Endor - the Adjucator and Accuser. They renamed the Adjucator to Liberator and Accuser to Emancipator. Liberator was destroyed in the rebel effort to capture Coruscant. The Emancipator was destroyed by the World Devastator Silencer-7 at the Battle of Mon Calamari. Others have been reported in use. Donitz

Hmm, no, I never read Dark Empire. The plot stunk. Clone Emperor? Very original and Luke submits to the Dark side. bah.The Star Wars industry had the choice of choosing Dark Empire or The Thrawn Trilogy as the sequel to the films, and I am glad they choose the Thrawn trilogy. But that is beside the point! The point is who ripped of TJ by giving him bogus ships that you cannot trade? They ripped him off a couple thousand credits. IP: 24.237.11.25 |

Hmmm, then i take back my $40 IC's..... Especially if it hasn't been approved by the VEES or VECP... Those are for my own benefit and so i cant get myself swindled. Tell me if you get the paperwork back from them to sell that bi-plane, and I'll consider raising my price again. =) [This message has been edited by Christiana (edited 06 March 2000).] IP: 24.237.11.25 |
